1. Blind School Diwali Mela: In association  with the Blind School association in New Delhi, Blind School Diwali takes place every year. It’s one of the most popular & best Diwali melas in town! The students of the blind school make beautiful candles & diyas which are up for sale. In addition to that, there are various stalls selling Indian wear, home decor items, Diwali decoration items, lamps etc. They have fantastic food stalls as well! Chaats, Pastas, Sweets, everything is sold here. Just perfect for having after all that shopping! More info here

2) Select City Walk Diwali Mela: If you love some Diwali shopping, this is the best Diwali mela for you! From fashionable clothing to super amazing Diwali decor; everything is sold here. Held in the Select city mall courtyard, if nothing entices you here you can continue your hunt in the mall! It’s the best isn’t it?

3) Dastkar Diwali Mela: One of the oldest melas in Delhi, Dastkar has always been a favourite. A truly fun Diwali mela, Dastkar is the old-school mela. You can buy everything from Indian apparels, accessories, Diwali lamps & decor stuff. Don’t miss out on this Diwali mela!

When: Oct 5 – 16

Where: Dastkar Nature Bazaar, Chattarpur

Timings: 11am onwards

4) Defence Colony Diwali Mela: A favourite of all of South Delhi’s residents, the Defence colony mela gives the Diwali feels! From fun Diwali lights, yummy food, DJ performances; come here if you want to have a good time this Diwali!

When: Oct 14-15

Where: Defence Colony

Timings: 2pm- 10pm

Entry fee: INR 50
