When Mamagato opened in Noida, it seemed like an unassuming place from outside. But I thought I’ll give it a try, since I was in the mood for some Asian food & boy was I surprised! From the eclectic decor & interesting paintings all over the place to the service, everything was a 10/10!
The second time I visited, it was an amazing culinary experience made even more amazing by their courteous staff!
The BEST Udon noodles ever at Mamagato!
If you’re a vegetarian & want to eat something different than the usual Hakka Noodles & Manchurian; let me get you in on a little secret, Mamagato’s Udon noodles are to die for! The first time we visited it was there on the menu & somehow they have removed it from the menu now but they still serve it. Udon noodles are flat wheat noodles which they serve in a big bowl ( enough for two), along with lots of fresh vegetables in a sweet soya sauce which is the best thing ever! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

We had also ordered some Old School Gyoza Dumplings, we are small eaters so this was enough for the two of us. Their dim sums are made with a different kind of wheat which is mixed with peas. Somehow, this was a bit too different for our taste buds & we just asked our server, what it’s made of & he explained it to us very comprehensively. We were busy enjoying our food when the Manager came & asked if there’s some problem he could even replace the dimsums, we politely refused. A few minutes later, we saw the manager carrying a big bowl of Ice-cream, he said it is complimentary from their side & it’s a very special ice-cream made with coconut & jaggery. We enjoyed it thoroughly!
The service by Tarun(our server) & the manager took our dining experience to a whole new level!
