If you know me, you know that I love comfort over anything else. But now that I also have to look good for the gram, I have to sacrifice that just a teeny-weeny bit on my travel footwear! I tend to carry only one or two solid sandals for walking and a one pair for those fancy nights when I have to go to a party or dinner. So, here we are. These are some of the best travel footwear that I carry:

Basic Brown/Black Sandals:
Now, let me warn you these are pretty hard to find. I’m not talking about the flimsy sandals that they sell which are just looks. I’m talking about the solid pair which you can walk miles in. The material is super soft and comfy, like leather but not leather. I have brown ones from Forever 21 which have survived in pouring rain, 10 km walks and just anything in between. Like the one I’m wearing in the photo below. Of course your travel footwear need to be trendy too!

Basic Sneakers:
This is a no-brainer. But ALWAYS carry one pair of stylish, basic black or white sneakers with you. When your flimsy, stylish sandals are unable to take the load, these travel footwear are life saviors! Because of my love of all things black, of course I have black sneakers from Puma. But never under-estimate the power of a solid sneaker when on a holiday!

Fancy dinner date sandals:
Yes, of late I have been carrying these too. Since my long & flowy evening dresses don’t look good with either of the shoes above! I usually carry block heels as they are comfy, look good and I can walk miles in them! I usually carry either my grey block heels , gold block heels (which goes with anything!)

Closed-toe sandals:
I usually don’t like these personally as I love wearing open sandals at all times, but these go really well with all kinds of dresses too. They give a formal look but since they are flats, they are super comfortable!
